We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented individual to join our team as an Affiliate Loan Partner. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with potential business and commercial loan prospects through affiliate partnerships. Your primary objective will be to expand our loan portfolio by connecting with businesses in need of financing solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong network of contacts within the business community, possesses excellent sales and negotiation skills, and is driven by achieving targets and driving business growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and establish affiliate partnerships with industry-specific organizations, business networks, chambers of commerce, professional associations, and other relevant entities to generate prospects for business and commercial loans.
- Proactively seek out and develop relationships with potential loan prospects.
- Leverage your network of contacts and utilize various lead-generation strategies to identify businesses seeking financing solutions, such as expansion capital, working capital, equipment financing, or business acquisition loans.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including loan officers, to evaluate loan applications and provide guidance to loan prospects throughout the application process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliate partners, providing ongoing support, training, and resources to enable them to effectively refer loan prospects.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and enhance the organization’s loan offerings.
- Track and report on key performance indicators, including lead generation, conversion rates, and loan portfolio growth, to management on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications or training in sales, business development, or lending are a plus.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or lending, with a focus on commercial or business loans.
- A strong network of contacts within the business community, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), entrepreneurs, and industry influencers.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Understanding of lending principles, credit analysis, and loan underwriting processes.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to assess the financial health and viability of businesses.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements related to commercial lending.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, lead generation tools, and sales tracking software.
Compensation
$55,000 – $450,000 (Commission-only)
